I am a junior english major with a minor in women's studies.  As a writer. I fear most that my writing will expose too much of myself. Even with this fear, I believe that a writer can only be successful and original if they completely give themselves up to their writing.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending any free time I have with my friends and brothers. I love to go camping, see movies, swim, rock climb and cook. I work full time and also take a full load, so I am always busy and usually running from one place to another.

Follow up:

During the course of The Art of Persuasion class I have found myself forced to face my fears as a writer. I can no longer use an excuse that writing exposes too much. That is exactly the point, writing should expose who you are. After writing my memoir, something I really struggled with, I realized that I should be putting my feelings into my writing because I know that my voice will shine through so much more, and my writing will read more comfortably.
